Solomon Schechter School of Westchester is looking for an English/literacy teacher for Grades 6-8 for the coming academic year.
Join our warm and collegiate Middle School staff. Applicants should have a master’s degree in literacy with an emphasis on the development of reading and writing skills, and experience working with older elementary and middle school students. You will be a resource to the English department to help us maximize language instruction techniques and effectiveness, including assessing students’ literacy skills and providing differentiated instruction to support the development of reading and writing skills for all students.
