Young Judaea, Hadassah’s youth movement, seeks an Israel Youth Program Supervisor.
The Supervisor will be reponsible for aggressive promotion of the Year Course program and will assist the Manager of Long-term Israel Programs in various large-scale projects
Responsibilities:
*Create marketing, promotional and educational materials for the recruitment of the Year Course Program.
*Serve as liaison between families in the U.S. and our office in Israel
*Oversee site coordination and logistics of Year Course orientation
Develop and coordinate the Family Tour Program for Year Course families.
*Screen and orient participants, including one-on-one interviews with program applicants
*Coordinate arrival and departure days at local airports
*Maintain web site
*Other duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications:
*4-5 years work experience
Supervisory experience
*Marketing and event planning experience
*Previous involvement in Jewish community
*Knowledge of Israel and Israel programs preferred

Wanted: One or more computer-savvy individuals who can help with the development and/or maintenance of our Web site (www.kulanu.org) as volunteers/pro-bono consultants.
We are the administrative office for a small, volunteer-run non-profit organization reaching out to isolated Jewish communities around the world as well as groups of people seeking to learn about their Jewish roots. We operate out of the Upper West Side home office of the organization’s Treasurer & Development Officer. We are a friendly, informal, very hard-working team, and the fascinating work we do allows us to be in touch with people all over the world.
Here are examples of roles that you might fill:
1. Help with Web site maintenance, adding new written material or photos (preferably one or more hours a week)
2. Help clean up code, fix broken links, etc. (could be a one-time assignment of 10-20 hours or more)
3. Advise on Web site structure and design (occasionally, as needed)
4. Serve as teacher/mentor and/or technical consultant as we learn new skills and work with new tools for web site development (occasionally, as needed)
5. Help with web design; for example, creating templates that make it easier for others to maintain the web site (as needed)
6. Browse the site using older web browsers, to see if there are compatibility problems (anytime)
7. Make suggestions for improvements in the web site (anytime)
We are looking for people with strong experience and skills appropriate for items 1-5. We expect to work, at first, mainly with HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver. The Web site is hosted on an Apache/Linux server.

Position Summary
The entry-level associate digital content producer reports to the senior director of digital media & marketing. He or she will write, edit, create, and maintain content for use on UJA-Federation of New York’s website and in outbound e-mail communications and other platforms, collaborating with the Digital Media team and colleagues from many areas of organization and its agencies to research, compile assets and approvals, and collect information to produce comprehensive, accurate news and feature stories, profiles, online forms, and multimedia content.
Primary Responsibilities
• Research, write, edit, compile, and deploy Daily Briefing e-mail and related website content.
• Maintain accurate listings on website events calendar and other relevant calendar websites that serve the New York Jewish community.
• Create custom online donation and event registration forms as needed to support fundraising events and donation appeals.
• Create simple video “vignettes” for display on elevator lobby screens at UJA-Federation.
Competencies/Skills
• Very good writing skills (samples required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Deep, sincere interest in digital media and websites, including content, networking, and searches

HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, America’s first international migration agency, seeks a full-time New York Young Leaders Coordinator to oversee the expansion of the HIAS Young Leaders (HYL) chapter in New York.

FHAO is currently seeking a Program Associate for the New York region who will have a major responsibility for coordinating the work of our Jewish Education Program and delivering Facing History program services, including outreach and working with teachers of the program; co-facilitating professional development workshops and summer seminars; maintaining follow-up contact; coordinating projects, community outreach, and written reports.
