Cal/West Educators Placement is pleased to announce an Executive Leadership Opportunity for July 2012: Brandeis Hillel Day School (BHDS) is seeking an exceptional Head of School who will work with the Brandeis Hillel community to continue the growth and success of the school.


BHDS is an independent co-educational school for students in grades K-8, located on two campuses —one in San Francisco, and one in Marin. The school’s mission is to serve the Jewish community by providing children with an outstanding academic program in general and Judaic studies within a dynamic and diverse Jewish cultural environment.

Yavneh Academy of Dallas is a co-educational, college-preparatory high school (9-12) offering the highest quality Judaic and General Studies programs to 120 students. Qualifications:

Experience/Credentials
-Senior leadership experience (5+ years) in a high school
-Proven ability to lead and operate a school with prudent fiscal practices
-Excellent record of day-to-day management of a school
-Masters or Doctorate degree
-Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate the appropriate partnership with the school’s Board of Directors and the Managing Director for the advancement of the school and its mission

-Effective student relationships and commitment to growth of student-led activities
-Genuine affection for and appreciation of teenagers
