</strong>The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research was founded in Vilna, Poland, in 1925 and relocated to New York City in 1940. Our mission is to preserve, study and teach the cultural history of Jewish life throughout Eastern Europe and Russia.  Our educational and public outreach programs concentrate on all aspects of this 1000-year history and its continuing influence in America. </strong>As part of the Development Department, the Database and Membership Associate has the primary responsibilities of performing day-to-day membership functions, maintaining the Raiser’s Edge database, and staffing development events.</p>

The new cantor will inspire the congregation and make the religious experience of all members more meaningful. We are looking for a new Cantor who is dedicated to a life of Tefillah.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="normal;"><span>The Cantor should have a recognized cantorial certification from a notable institution. He will be jointly supervised by the Rabbi and President of the Congregation. The responsibilities of the cantor include the following:</span></p>

The matching grants initiatives are collaborations between JFN and foundations whose goals are to identify and motivate new generations of philanthropists to enhanced levels of sustained giving.<span> </span></span></span></p>
