Instructors wanted to teach Creative Suite CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) Minimum 7 years graphic design experience. Must know version CS3
If you are full-time employed using graphics software, this is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills, make some extra money (we pay well for the right candidate!), and have fun as well. There are three prerequisites to become an instructor at The Bold Edge:

1. Be a pro with the software you teach. You should know the ins and outs of Creative Suite CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) Please do not apply if you only know a software well enough to teach a total beginner. You will get interesting questions asked of you by the students who may not be total beginners.

2. Be affable and good with people. People must like you.
It is very important that you be able to communicate well with students. You must be able to get along with almost any type of personality. At The Bold Edge, you are like a friend showing another friend how to use the computer. That is the comfort level we hope every student feels and that is why they come take our courses.

3. Know how to explain things in a logical manner.
It seems easy enough to show the steps of how to use software. There are plenty of people who meet the above two prerequisites, but who just cannot teach. You must have patience and an easygoing manner.

If you meet the above criteria, then we would like to hear from you. Once you get started at The Bold Edge, you may find teaching as fun as our students find learning.

A little about us:
We are a training center based in Brooklyn. We have successfully taught and launched many students into the graphic design field. The class sizes are small, allowing an excellent teaching experience. We will be providing the curriculum, but you will be expected to tie in your professional on the job experience in the field to the lessons you are teaching.

Start date:
ASAP preferably before February 5th, 2008

Days and hours: Only respond if you are available for these days and times.
Sunday and Tuesday evenings: 6:30pm-9:30pm
15 classes in all

Location:
Right near the 18th avenue stop on the F train line.
