A dynamic exciting Jewish media company is seeking a full or part-time Community Marketing Director, who will form relationships and enact joint programs and activities with Jewish community leaders and organizations across the New York metro area.

The Community Marketing Director will be expected to reach out to rabbis, synagogues and community centers and develop programs that are aimed at raising community awareness and interest in our projects.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a good working knowledge of the NY-area Jewish community and will be able to build upon an existing network of leaders within the community, particularly within the Jewish Federation system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-  Conduct on site audits of our clients’ energy and water use.

-  Help collect the data necessary to calculate corporate carbon footprints.

-  Identify waste management and reduction strategies.

-  Applicants must have knowledge of and/or a strong interest in energy conservation.

-  Experience or knowledge of commercial construction and design, and building methods and materials.

-  Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.

-  Experience with blower door, duct blaster and other energy use diagnostic equipment a plus.

• Candidates will use their creativity to implement recreational programs that engage and inspire a mentally disabled adolescent population living in a Residential Program in Brooklyn.
• Survey consumers’ recreational interests and physical abilities and develop exciting activities and programs geared towards an adolescent population.
• Help adolescents integrate into the community through vocational counseling and by developing volunteer and job opportunities in the community.
• Coordinate and accompany participants to external recreational activities and events
• Help improve and maintain the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their clients
• Help build confidence and social skills so that adolescents can enjoy greater independence

Qualifications:
