DeltaForce Legal Staffing is currently seeking a data analyst to work in one of Manhattan’s leading law firms.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in back office operations at a financial firm.
  • Must be proficient at Microsoft Excel and have some knowledge of database management programming, i.e., Access, SQL, Oracle or others, and Crystal report writing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the subject of securities trading and/or accounting is preferred.

The Data Analyst is responsible for retrieving securities transactional information from multiple database platforms for institutional investors. The Data Analyst will perform steps to clean-up, manipulate and standardize data into a format that can be imported into a proprietary database of client information for analysis. Additionally, the Data Analyst will be responsible for tracking information that has been received, maintain client history log, and alert team members to problems (e.g., data errors, data integrity, missing data, etc.) The Data Analyst will generate and run reports needed by the Client Services team and in time, be asked to perform analysis of client data using multiple methodologies.

SQL Server Database Developer/Architect

Responsible for:
- Lead role in the planning and architecture of data related projects with a keen eye on performance (encompasses high availability website and in house applications)
- Provide technical guidance to developers
- Provide, maintain, and enforce SQL Coding Standards
- Deep problem solving skills (troubleshooting performance issues, bugs and other nuances)

Required Experience:

- 3+ years relational database design using data modeling tools such as ER Studio
- 2+ years with XML
- Familiarity with SQL 2005 and SSIS packages
- Reporting systems (Reporting Services, SSIS, Analysis Services, Cognos, etc)
- Troubleshooting issues with SQL Server 2000 and 2005
- Worked with multiple database environments for development, quality assurance and production
- Strong, SR. level analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Version control software
- Bug tracking software

Additional Desired Experience:
- Development background with .Net preferred
- Worked with high traffic/high available websites
- Data warehousing background
- Familiarity with clustered and load balanced SQL Server solutions in a production environment

Position Summary

Field Service Engineer

Our client develops and commercializes advanced systems that extract vital diagnostic information from subtle changes in the patient’s exhaled breath.

Our clients headquarter is based in Israel.

This position is a “roving” position that should be based in New Jersey.

The Field Service Engineer [FSE] is responsible for the implementation of the company systems at designated medical centers. This role is the primary liaison between the medical center and the company HQ for technical and training issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of optic-mechanical equipment in the field of medial devices.  Provide product support, software and hardware, installation, operation & servicing training to customers
  2. Provides weekly status reports, maintains up-to-date database and field service reports.
  3. Conducts classroom, on-site and online (remote) training with the customer.
  4. Modifies, develops and maintains end-user training materials/guides.
  5. Develops and administers customer competency exams - including scoring exams, communicating results, and suggesting remedial action where needed.
