Will plan, develop, design, establish, and maintain Internet sites using expert technical knowledge and communication to achieve marketing and informational goals Responsible for design and development of HTML pages and content layout for:

1) Website

Working closely with the marketing, editorial, and product management teams, serves as the key designer for digital projects, banners, creating wireframes and concept mockups. Will fashion compelling visual designs that supports the product requirements and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Will produce clean, well formatted, commented code that renders the same regardless of browser
  • Use design software to create mockups and html prototypes for new features
  • Build/Code static and dynamic pages from these mockups and additional specifications
  • Design and produce optimized, web-ready graphics
  • Create and manage CSS styles and CSS frameworks
  • Ensure customer-facing new features meet style requirements
  • Create code for front-end behaviors with Flex/Flash/Dynamic HTML and other technologies.
  • Drive the use/implementation and best practices of Web 2.0
  • Cross-browser test and troubleshoot site presentation
  • Optimize pages to be read by both viewers and search-engine spiders by using clear, symantic markup

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in computer-related area of study
  • Min 2- 4+ years of experience in front-end web development
  • Exceptional pixel-perfect graphic design and typography
  • Browser rendering and cross-browser knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of image processing and web optimization
  • Building for Search Engine Optimization
  • Experience working with CVS or other concurrent versioning software

General Summary:
The manager of web technologies is in charge of the day-to-day operations of company websites.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs system administration tasks, manages email account, and develops websites. Project management of all web endeavors. Plans and creates information architecture for new sites. Conducts needs assessment and serves as liaison to other departments for web-based projects in development. Installs and configures web log analysis software (NetTracker) and produces reports. Supervises work of the Web Designer and Junior Web Developer. Serves on the Technology Planning and Advisory Committee.
Qualifications:
