Position Summary:
The Manager, Affiliate and Search Marketing is responsible for overseeing all efforts related to Affiliate & Search marketing including media buying, trafficking, and reporting. The job role is primarily one of customer acquisition, direct response advertising, and analytics. One Marketing Analyst and one Marketing Coordinator will report to this Manager.
II. Essential Functions:
-Oversee launch of an Affiliate Marketing Program (50% of role)
- Provide guidance to Marketing Analyst on the Search Marketing Program (SEM) (25% of role)
- Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts as it relates to paid links (10% of role)
- Oversee the Online Travel Agency (OTA) marketing programs - i.e. Travelocity, Expedia (10% of role)

About the Queensborough Community College Foreign Languages and Literatures Department:
The department offers six Foreign Languages (Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian and Spanish) taught by fourteen full-time faculty members.
Facilities: two language labs. and one smart cart
Foreign language requirements and/or electives serve many degree programs, including Liberal Arts and Sciences and Fine and Performing Arts.

Duties:
The department is looking for an individual with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching who can function effectively in a culturally diverse environment. The successful candidate will:
Teach Hebrew and another language (Chinese, French, Italian or Spanish) applying multiple pedagogical approaches, including multimedia and computer-assisted teaching methodologies;
Provide academic advisement and assistance to students during the semester and as part of the registration process;
Participate in curriculum and faculty development, college committees, and in the foreign language club;
Continue scholarly activities, required for tenure and promotion.
Teach some evening or weekend teaching as required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Masters or ABD In Hebrew (for Instructor) or Ph.D. or equivalent in Hebrew (for Assistant Professor) and college teaching competence in Chinese, French, Italian or Spanish; excellent communication skills in English and native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew.

Preferred:
Training and/or experience in TESOL highly desirable; extensive knowledge and experience in language pedagogy, educational technology; familiarity with assessment; knowledge of Biblical and Classical Hebrew literatures.
